Meet the Founders

What happens when two social, ambitious, and design savvy ladies meet and want to make magic happen?

Casskell Stays, of course!

 Founded in 2022 by Cassandra Egan and Noel Slifko, Casskell Stays was created with a mission to help the community live their best life in the Catskill Mountains along the Delaware River and experience all the wonders it has to offer.

Noel graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2016 with a BFA in Interior Design (Sarasota, FL), and went on to intern in NYC at Marie Burgos Design. She spent years as a nanny and personal assistant learning the skills of great personalized service and traveling the world, visiting a variety of high-end hotels, resorts, and short term rentals taking note of what does and doesn’t “work”, waiting for the right opportunity to take advantage of all that she had learned.

Cassandra graduated from The State University of NY at Cortland in 2007 with two degrees in education. Following an exclusive internship in New York with The NYCDOE she spent the last 20 years working in customer service, finance, and even dabbling in real estate all while traveling coast-to-coast looking for adventure, great design, and the best cuisine before coming back home and deciding to make the Catskills her permanent residence. She is an avid animal-lover, amateur chef, and a list-maker extraordinaire. If there is a beautiful spot off a hiking trail or along a stream in the area she is sure to find it!

When Cassie and Noel met it was “love at first sight” and they bonded over their obsession for great vacations and our little slice of heaven in Upstate New York. It wasn’t long after Casskell Stays was born and ready to help others thoroughly enjoy time here as much as they do!
